25 Mar We adapt to the new situation of COVID 19!
The COVID 19 health crisis has and will have a big impact in our lives. It is a complex situation that is challenging all of us as individuals, families and workers.
To prevent the spread of the COVID 19 and the consequent collapse of the healthcare system, the government took measures to confine most of us at home. At ABLE, we have had to adapt to this new situation, knowing that it is not easy since we deal with hardware, we have to assemble and weld components, and we need to constantly test the exoskeleton with patients. But we take this as a challenge, and we are confident that we will successfully overcome it and learn a lot from this situation.
Luckily, the use of technology allows us to continue working in the most normal way: our team works remotely from home, doing everything possible to keep up the pace and comply with our ambitious planning.
Some of the measures that we have implemented are:
• Do weekly sprints instead of every two weeks
• Maintain a frequent online communication with Hangouts Meet
• Strengthen the use of the Jira as a project management tool
• Make a 20min daily virtual coffee to maintain team cohesion

Approaching work from another point of view. 🤸🏻♀️
The secret is to combine. 🏊🏼
Today I took the opportunity to get comfortable, taking advantage of a 15-minute noon Yoga to focus better. 🧘🏻♀️
I am so busy that I have two offices, one for the laptop and one as a workshop. My flat is 50 square meters, so imagine… Sara is losing patience. 👨🏭
My trick to staying focused in these confining times is my rubber duck who helps me debug (learn more here) 🐥

I try to maintain a similar routine, getting up, eating and working at the same time. But I notice that it is more difficult to disconnect when you have the office in your room, I hope I will get used to the quarantine… 🧑🏻💻
Keep calm and routine. 💪🏼
I was talking to the firmware team about the communication protocols and the last details of the new assembly and I listened in the background: Paaaauuuu! Set the table!!! 🗣
Not a day goes by that I don’t look for the water bottle for a few seconds until I realize that I’m not in the office. 🚰
In order not to slow down, I work with my shoes and helmet. 🚴🏼
To stay focused on work, every day I try to dress (more or less) as if I were to close a € 1 million business. 👔
I eat a bit of plant compost every morning. 🌸
Having a break every 2 hours to make some shots! 🏀
