ABLE Human Motion has been granted with Neotec Program

ABLE Human Motion has been granted 250.000 € in the framework of Neotec Program of the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) and the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

Our project “Able: The first light-weight, easy-to-use and affordable exoskeleton that restores walking capacity” has been ranked the third best overall proposal and has obtained the highest score among healthcare projects, with a grade of 88.

At ABLE Human Motion we are devoted to enable people to move on their own, with the goal of increasing their independence and quality of life. To that aim, we are constantly innovating to create new life-changing solutions for individuals with mobility impairments. We seek to provide a continuum of care, from clinics to home.

At the hospital, the long-term goal of rehabilitation is successful integration into the community, with the recovery of the walking ability as key objective. Physiotherapists and medical doctors are seeking for more innovative and efficient solutions to provide higher intensity and efficient training during rehabilitation.

The project responds to the need of healthcare professionals to have accessible technology for rehabilitation, that can be adapted to the individual motor needs, and will address the high unmet demand of people to walk autonomously in their home. We aim to empower engagement in community with family and friends, and foster a healthy and active life.
