On November 8th and 9th, two members of the ABLE team travelled to Vienna (Austria) to attend the inauguration of a new rehabilitation center that uses cutting-edge technology: Tech2People.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 1: Launching a new therapy center<\/b><\/h2>\n

The day kicked off with the opening speeches of Gregor Demblin, founder of Tech2People and myAbility Social Enterprise, and Prof. Peter Lackner, Head of the Department of Neurology at Klinik Floridsdorf, Vienna. Then the morning followed with a press conference in the new therapy center, with a discussion moderated by Prof. Siegfried Meryn, Professor Emeritus at the Teaching Center of the Medical University of Vienna.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 2: ABLE Exoskeleton demonstrations<\/b><\/h2>\n

Fast forward to day two \u2013 the day we stole the show. We rolled out our revolutionary product, the ABLE Exoskeleton: a lightweight, easy-to-use and accessible exoskeleton for neurorehabilitation.<\/span><\/p>\n

We started with a short presentation of the different functionalities of the device and the clinical benefits to the clinical staff at Tech2People. The clinical staff got hands-on (literally!) with the device, and they were very excited to see our unique features. Then we continued with several live demonstrations, which allowed them to witness first-hand the potential of our technology. We hope this is the start of a long-term collaboration!<\/span><\/p>\n

Closing Thoughts:<\/b><\/h2>\n

Our trip to Vienna wasn’t just about shaking hands and exchanging business cards; it was about making connections and sparking a revolution in rehabilitation. We’re stoked about the positive feedback, the great discussions, and the warm welcome we received.<\/span><\/p>\n

As we head back home, we’re carrying with us the memories and learnings of this fantastic trip.
