Organized by the Spanish Society of Paraplegia (SEP) and the Spanish Association of Nursing Specialized in Spinal Cord Injury (ASELME), the congress celebrated the 50th anniversary of the <a href=\"https:\/\/hnparaplejicos.sanidad.castillalamancha.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Hospital for Paraplegics<\/a>, a leader in spinal cord injury care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the three-day event, we showcased our robotic exoskeleton with live demonstrations by our pilot, Susana Rodr\u00edguez, who walked through the exhibition area, drawing the attention of attending professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"940\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ablehumanmotion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/1000055641-1-1024x940.jpg\" alt=\"The ABLE Team with our pilot in the booth during the Congress of Paraplegia\" class=\"wp-image-40580\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ablehumanmotion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/1000055641-1-1024x940.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.ablehumanmotion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/1000055641-1-300x276.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ablehumanmotion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/1000055641-1-768x705.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.ablehumanmotion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/1000055641-1.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Our Symposium at the 2024 Congress of Paraplegia<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During this year&#8217;s Congress of Paraplegia, we hosted a symposium titled &#8220;Use of Robotics in Different Phases of Rehabilitation: Present and Future,&#8221; aimed at highlighting the importance of technology in the rehabilitation processes of neurological patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session featured three renowned speakers: <strong>Dr. Llu\u00efsa Montesinos Magraner<\/strong> (Head of the Spinal Cord Injury Unit at Vall d&#8217;Hebron Hospital and President of the Spanish Society of Paraplegia), <strong>Dr. Jos\u00e9 Estay Girardi <\/strong>(Specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Hospital Asepeyo Sant Cugat), and <strong>Cristina V\u00e1zquez<\/strong> (Physiotherapist and Co-founder of the European Neuroscience Center).
