Personal exoskeleton clinical trial. \" class=\"wp-image-44413\" style=\"border-radius:36px;width:691px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ablehumanmotion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/ABLE_Daily-1024x683.webp 1024w, https:\/\/www.ablehumanmotion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/ABLE_Daily-300x200.webp 300w, https:\/\/www.ablehumanmotion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/ABLE_Daily-768x512.webp 768w, https:\/\/www.ablehumanmotion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/ABLE_Daily-1536x1024.webp 1536w, https:\/\/www.ablehumanmotion.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/ABLE_Daily-2048x1365.webp 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Study<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In collaboration with the renowned<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maartenskliniek.nl\/research-innovation-en\/research-innovation-projects\/able-daily-exoskeleton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sint Maartenskliniek Hospital<\/a> <\/strong>in the Netherlands, this study aims to assess the safety and usability of the ABLE Daily exoskeleton for individuals with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ablehumanmotion.com\/en\/spinal-cord-injury\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"3292\">spinal cord injury<\/a> (SCI) in home and community environments over a 12-week period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a training period in the hospital, participants will take the exoskeleton home, giving them the possibility to stand upright, walk and enhance social interactions such as eye-level conversations.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who Can Participate?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;re seeking adults with a spinal cord injury (SCI) who:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Meet medical inclusion criteria (contact us for more info)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has not been in a hospital outside of the Netherlands<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dutch resident<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to start as soon as possible<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in at least 9 training sessions on site at Sint Maartenskliniek in Nijmegen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have at least 1 companion who can assist and manage the device during use<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The companion needs to attend a minimum of 2 training sessions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willing to commit to using the exoskeleton at home for 12 weeks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Want to contribute to innovative assistive technology research<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study will be conducted at the <strong>Sint Maartenskliniek<\/strong>, a leading hospital for rehabilitation and research.
