25 Mar We adapt to the new situation of COVID 19!

The COVID 19 health crisis has and will have a big impact in our lives. It is a complex situation that is challenging all of us as individuals, families and workers.
To prevent the spread of the COVID 19 and the consequent collapse of the healthcare system, the government took measures to confine most of us at home. At ABLE, we have had to adapt to this new situation, knowing that it is not easy since we deal with hardware, we have to assemble and weld components, and we need to constantly test the exoskeleton with patients. But we take this as a challenge, and we are confident that we will successfully overcome it and learn a lot from this situation.
Luckily, the use of technology allows us to continue working in the most normal way: our team works remotely from home, doing everything possible to keep up the pace and comply with our ambitious planning.
Some of the measures that we have implemented are:
• Do weekly sprints instead of every two weeks
• Maintain a frequent online communication with Hangouts Meet
• Strengthen the use of the Jira as a project management tool
• Make a 20min daily virtual coffee to maintain team cohesion
Do you want to know how each of us manages this new situation?

I try to maintain a similar routine, getting up, eating and working at the same time. But I notice that it is more difficult to disconnect when you have the office in your room, I hope I will get used to the quarantine… 🧑🏻💻
