An innovative robotic exoskeleton that actively assists individuals with mobility impairments to stand up, walk and sit down.
Lightweight and slim design
Easy to handle and operate both for the user and the therapist.
Variable levels of assistance
Clinicians can adjust the amount of support provided at each joint.
Natural gait pattern
Performs natural steps and minimizes compensatory movements.
Postural support
Provides additional back support for those users with low trunk control.
Manual control mode
Therapist can decide when to initiate the steps for more safety and control.
3x faster fitting
The device sizes are easily adjusted without tools to maximize therapy time.
Automatic control mode
User can decide when to initiate the steps by shifting his weight forward.
Cost-effective
Enables widespread patient access to robotic rehabilitation technology.
The exoskeleton comes together with a mobile app to enhance the rehabilitation experience, enabling a more personalized and data-driven therapy.
Quick set up. Securely store device and session data.
Adjust gait. Change modes and settings with an intuitive display.
Therapy feedback. Quantify gait performance in real-time.
Usage metrics. View number of steps and walking time.
Progress monitoring. Track patient’s evolution over time.
Intended use
The exoskeleton is intended to enable individuals with spinal cord injury at levels from C5 to L5* to perform ambulatory functions in rehabilitation institutions under the supervision of a trained therapist.
It can be used by people weighing up to 100 kg and a height between 150 and 190 cm.
(*) With elbow extensor muscle activity of at least 4/5 in both arms.
Backed by leading clinical institutions
The exoskeleton technology of ABLE Human Motion has been developed in close collaboration with clinicians and patients, integrating their feedback into the design to create products that optimally solve their needs.
The safety, feasibility, and usability of the ABLE Exoskeleton has been clinically validated in leading European rehabilitation institutions.
The ABLE Exoskeleton is not yet CE-marked and therefore not commercially available (European market launch expected for early 2023).

Who can use the ABLE Exoskeleton?
The ABLE Exoskeleton will be certified to enable individuals with spinal cord injury at levels from C5 to L5 (with elbow extensor muscle activity of at least 4/5 in both arms) to perform ambulatory functions under the supervision of a trained therapist.
What are the ABLE Exoskeleton size and weight requirements?
The ABLE Exoskeleton has been designed for people between 1.50 – 1.90m and a maximum weight of 100kg.
Who can buy the exoskeleton?
Hospitals and rehabilitations centres from the European Union.
Why should I incorporate the ABLE Exoskeleton to my practice?
The ABLE Exoskeleton is the first lightweight, easy to use, and affordable exoskeleton.
It will provide your clinical institution with a tool to deliver intensive gait training in an efficient manner.
The patient will be able to put the device on and off autonomously. The fitting time has been reduced to 7 minutes (up to 30 minutes for commercial exoskeletons). It will be able to adapt to different user sizes and geometries without external tools. Which will drastically speed up the process of changing the device configuration between patients.
The exoskeleton comes with a cloud-based mobile app, ABLE Care. Tis app enables a full digitalization of the rehabilitation process. You will be able to deliver your patients a personalized and data-driven therapy through quantifiable metrics.
