Progress during neurorehabilitation therapy

  • Therapists can decide when to initiate each step using 2 buttons on the back for more safety and control.
  • Then, patients learn to initiate each step automatically by shifting their weight forward and laterally.
  • Advanced patients can initiate steps using the motion of the pelvis, achieving faster and more dynamic walking.
  • A wireless Remote Controller gives the patient greater independence, allowing them to fully control the exoskeleton.

Intended Purpose

The ABLE Exoskeleton is indicated for gait rehabilitation treatment of people with:

  • Spinal Cord Injury at levels C5 to L5 (with elbow extensor muscle activity of at least 4/5 in both arms),
  • with Multiple Sclerosis with score up to 8.5 on the Extended Disability Status Scale (EDSS)
  • or Neuromuscular Diseases that cause gait impairments.

Fits people 150-190 cm tall, weighing up to 100 kg.
