2025 ABLE’s main achievements

We are incredibly grateful for the progress made in 2025, a year that brought us closer to our mission of democratizing access to robotics in rehabilitation. This year’s achievements are proof of the dedication of the entire ABLE team and the trust placed in us by individuals and clinics alike.

We’ve summarised these significant milestones below.

🏆2025 key milestones:

ABLE Exoskeleton sold and installed in 25 clinical institutions.

Entered Spain’s public healthcare hospitals through tenders awarded in 6 autonomous communities.

+2.5 million steps completed with the exoskeleton and +600 patients treated.

Signed a distributor partnership in Portugal with Bayber Health and in Rumania with PHYSIOMED.

Attended 8 medical conferences/fairs and reached 10K followers on LinkedIn.

New indications approved: multiple sclerosis and neuromuscular diseases.

First clinical trial with acquired brain injury patients (including stroke) completed successfully.

New product features launched: backwards steps, active flex and automatic mode.

Finalised development of prototype for home/community use (currently in clinical trial).

Started the development of a new paediatric exoskeleton prototype.

Built direct sales in the DACH region and operations department, growing our team to 35 people.

Won 2 European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) Awards.

⏳What’s next for ABLE in 2026?

As we move into 2026, our focus remains on scaling our impact while continuing to innovate alongside clinicians, patients, and partners. In the year ahead, we will concentrate on:

  • Continue scaling clinical adoption, with a focus on international markets.
  • Scale production while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Generate clinical evidence that strengthens our value proposition and expands our target population.
  • Negotiate distribution agreements in at least seven new international markets.
  • Achieve the first direct sales in the DACH region.
  • Advance the development of the ABLE Daily and ABLE Kids prototypes.
  • Continously improve the ABLE Exoskeleton, including new automatic progress reports, integration with other technologies, and exciting software and hardware upgrades.
