In February, we had a very special event: our team visited the National Hospital for Paraplegics in Toledo and demonstrated our ABLE Exoskeleton to their clinical professionals.
The National Hospital for Paraplegics in Toledo is the largest hospital in Spain for the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of Spinal Cord Injury (SCI). Founded in 1974, since then it has treated more than 15,000 patients with SCI. It is accredited by the Ministry of Health as a reference centre for the treatment of complex SCI.

The hospital was the perfect setting to show how our technology can be used for neurorehabilitation, improving the quality of life and health of people with SCI. During the day, we had the opportunity to make two demonstrations with patients with spinal cord injury, in addition to presenting the device to the Rehabilitation Service team of the hospital. Medical professionals had the opportunity to explore the features and benefits of the exoskeleton, understanding its potential to improve their rehabilitation programs.
We especially want to thank the pilots who participated in the sessions, Juan and Andrea, for trusting #ABLE. ♂️ ♀️
For #ABLE, interaction with clinicians and hospitals is key to improving our ABLE Exoskeleton to provide an efficient rehabilitation tool. We are excited to continue advancing our mission to improve the mobility and quality of life for people with disabilities.
Thank you very much to the entire team at the National Hospital for Paraplegics in Toledo for welcoming us!
