The ABLE team demonstrates the exoskeleton at Guttmann Barcelona

On September 22nd, our Clinical Specialist, Helena López, and our CEO, Alfons Carnicero, were invited to Guttmann Barcelona, a highly specialized rehabilitation clinic in Barcelona.

There, they presented the novel ABLE Exoskeleton, a revolutionary tool for neurorehabilitation, to the entire clinical staff of Guttmann Barcelona, led by the Head of Rehabilitation, Manel Ochoa, and the Innovation Director, Eloy Opisso.

Among other topics, the presentation covered the unique features of our exoskeleton: the process of adjusting the size to each patient, transfer from a wheelchair into the device, the modes to initiate steps and sit-stand transitions, and the different metrics displayed on the mobile app. We also discussed about the clinical outcomes found during the clinical trials conducted with the exoskeleton at several hospitals.

Finally, the Pilot Ivan Camps took the stage: he came and made a live demonstration using the exoskeleton for the assistants, who asked many questions and were impressed with the great potential of this technology.
